Dr. Richard I. Hochman, M.D., F.A.C.P. is currently in private practice in Annapolis MD.
Dr. Hochman received his medical degree from New York University Bellevue
College of Medicine in 1952. He began his impressive medical career as an
active duty member of the United States Navy culminating in achievements such as
Chief Resident, Associate Chief of Medicine, and Chief of Cardiology. Those
years of experience and postgraduate training led to Dr. Hochman’s board
certification in Internal Medicine in 1979. As medical director for Advanced
Hyperbaric Oxygen Center Dr. Hochman’s wealth of knowledge and expertise deliver
the highest quality medical treatment and care. Dr. Hochman is married with
five children and is an active member in many professional societies and social
organizations.

JoAnne Barefoot Morgan, PhD, Provides senior level leadership for the Centers.
She facilitates the Clinic inspections and approvals by CLIA, OSHA, Insurance
Provider Screening programs, Safety Program, ROAR, JCAHO and all designated
regulatory programs. Her years of experience of owning her own businesses
enables her to work thru the opening of new centers with the finance
departments, preparing the site's annual budgets and achieve budgetary goals and
objectives, Proactively identify, assess and resolve operational problems and
keep lines of communication open with staff to ensure high functioning teams and
systems throughout, Develop site operational leadership by Clinic Directors and
Team staff for a smooth operation of each center, and maintain a safe and
progressive work environment. She holds a Doctorate in psychology from Lexington
University, KY. Member of American College of Hyperbaric Medicine, a Member of
International Congress of Hyperbaric Medicine, Undersea Hyperbaric Medicine
Society (UHMS) Corporate level, Divers Alert Network, MUMS supporter and a
Member of the National Autism Association She Continues her Education at all
times and is Currently studying Immunology and Infectious Diseases as related to
Hyperbaric Medicine. She has prompted the State of Maryland Legislature to
create a Governing Board for Doctor of Hyperbaric Medicine in order to regulate
and oversee this specialty practice.

Elly is retired from the State of Pennsylvania. She started her nursing career
in the US Air Force and continued it with the Veterans Hospital and Veterans
Home Network. She is in charge of patient history and the supervision of
patients and assistant technicians during the dives.

Mitzi graduated from Towson University with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Nursing. She is certified in HBOT and the use of the Transcutaneous pO2 Monitoring System. Her responsibilities include caring for patients receiving therapy and operating oxygen chambers. Other responsibilities include assisting pediatric patients during treatment and completing proper documentation while maintaining work environment. Mitzi is also CPR and BLS certified

Ruthea graduated from nursing school in 1982 as Valedictorian of her class. She has been working in various fields of nursing to include nursing homes, assisted living, and adult day care. Recently certified in HBOT and the use of the Transcutaneous pO2 Monitoring System and is also CPR certified. She is responsible for patient and employee scheduling as well as documentation on patient charts.

Heather graduated from nursing school in Texas in 1999. She has worked in a variety of areas including
acute care, cardiology, clinical instructor and most recently, utilization review. She is certified
in HBOT and the use of the Transcutaneous pO2 Monitoring System. She is also IV certified and is certified
in CPR and ACLS. Her responsibilities are in case management and insurance verification.

Donna has been a nurse for 28 years. She is also a Licensed Nurse Massage Therapist and
certified in HBOT and in the use of TCM400 monitoring system. After service in the USAF,
Donna returned to Maryland to continue her nursing career, her skills and knowledge
expand from pediatrics to hospice, in hospital, nursing home and outpatient clinic areas.
Most recently she has worked as a Nurse Consultant, Site Review Consultant and in Vaccine
Administration. She is the Medical/Nurse Case Manager at Advanced Hyperbarics her responsibilities
will include patient/family advocate in dealing with providers and insurance companies.

Amanda graduated from CCBC as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She is certified in HBOT and the
use of the Transcutaneous pO2 Monitoring System. Her responsibilities include caring for patients
receiving therapy and operating oxygen chambers. Other responsibilities include assisting pediatric
patients during treatment and completing proper documentation while maintaining work environment.
Amanda is also CPR and BLS certified.
